The HCOS Long-Term Care Database provides a comprehensive source of organization relationship and profile information as well as physician affiliations. The database includes details about more than 17,000 long-term care facilities.
Organization relationships to a corporate parent (LTC corporate owners or integrated delivery networks) along with the campus of facilities allows for aggregations to support account identification and segmentation. Information about the corporate parent affiliation with a GPO and pharmacy provider offers another level of relationships. The LTC database also reflects the nursing home’s or LTAC’s association with retail and non-retail pharmacies that serve the pharmaceutical needs of the site.
Within the nursing-home data, specific contacts such as medical director and pharmacy consultants are provided. The LTC profiles can be linked to DDD sales data as well as to IMS' Health Care Professional (HCP) databases.
